Shannon Scott is an accomplished attorney and legal strategist within the railroad industry. With over two decades of experience in employee and labor relations, people operations, and organizational transformations, Shannon has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and fostering operational success through a unique blend of legal expertise, business acumen, and operational insight, honed through a distinguished career in the transportation and logistics sectors.
20 Year Railroader
Previously, Shannon has held several pivotal roles at a Class I railroad in Labor Relations, Network Operations, Short Line Commercial and Intercarrier Joint Facilities and Law. Her leadership influenced national labor strategies, improved cross-functional collaboration, and delivered multi-million-dollar cost savings. Shannon’s expertise spans
labor strategy, compliance, policy development, contract negotiation, organizational design and mentoring emerging leaders.

A thought leader in the field, she has presented on labor relations and women’s leadership, contributing her insights at major industry conferences. Additionally, Shannon has served in board and advisory roles within her community and alma maters, demonstrating her commitment to driving organizational growth and community development.
Shannon is a native Floridian born in Jacksonville and raised in Kissimmee, Florida. She is the proud wife and mom of a dedicated husband, bubbly daughter and sweet son.
